How centrist Demcrats are selling out the party's future

1.) They ignore or attack the base. Calling Howard Dean names, and ignoring internet activists. They ignore the manpower and fundraising capacity of an entire wing of the party.

2.) They use a surrogate political machine provided by Organized Labor to man the phones, walk the precincts etc...

3.) They sell out the interests of Organized Labor by voting for CAFTA, NAFTA, and a whole host of imballanced trade agreements.

4.) They pretend to be speaking for democrats as a whole, when in fact they have bypassed the party completely.

This has to stop.

I completely agree Kenny. Even more so, I feel betrayed by our Democratic Leaders who are not staying focused and going after Bush on the Iraq War.

It's maddening. We deserve better. We must not roll over and let things carry forward as business as usual. And yet, that seems to be what everyone is doing.

"Downig Who? Downing What? Oh that, yeah Bush lied, so what..."

It is fairly simple what these "Democrats" are doing. They are tying to save their own ass. I am not going to downgrade anyone's Democratic Status, but they don't care about the well-being of our party, they simply care about being liked by the enemy, and simply care about being re-elected.

I am seriously contemplating sending those 15 Democratic Reps a nasty letter Samantha style, because it is insane. I was really suprised that Meeks voted with the Republicans. I am really really suprised by that one.

Bush lied, we all know it. I think that the many Democratic Senators who do not go after the fact that he did lie are just trying to save their asses.

Are we radicals?

I thought that most Democrats voted against CAFTA.
