Noam Chomsky on 911 conspiracy

For me, the biggest reason why I suspect much of the conspiracy theory stuff is false, is the anger I get thrown at me when I question it.

I've had people just come unhinged over this stuff. The only beliefs that come with that kind of anger and venom are religious beliefs. In other words faith based beliefs.

These conspiracy theories require a leap of faith. And they require overlooking evidence that is contrary to the belief.

That was a good video of Noam, thanks for posting it.

I agree with Noam in the sense that I don't think BushCo planned, orchestrated, and carried out 9/11.

I do however, think they knew something was going on. I do think Bush and Rice were briefed about Al Qaeda. I do think Clinton left BushCo a strategy for containing and killing Osama and Bin Laden.

I do believe BushCo ignored ClintonCo's strategy and planning on Al Qaeda.

I also do think that once 9/11 happened BushCo exploited it for as much political gain and power as they possibly could. And they still do reference 9/11 in nearly every speech.

Bush wanted to invade Iraq. When 9/11 occured, Bush didn't think "what a horrible tragedy, lets do all we can to get Bin Laden"

Instead Bush thought, "Al Qaeda attacked us on 9/11. Now how can I use this opportunity to invade Iraq".

The propaganda nearly wrote itself after that. It's really a text book case and I think it will be referenced as such by historians much as the Reichstag Fire is referred to as a pivotal momment in the rise of Nazi Germany.

I get tired of the nuts saying it was Bush also. It was way to big for them to pull off with out a leak. Not to mention the fact that if it was the Bush Admin, they would of framed Saddam for it.
